‘i’ve never’ started as a way to collect images in contemplation of one of the most common troupes of photography — images of the ever expansive sky. The book is designed so that any can rearrange the pieces of skies, or share it with a friend, or leave it at the corner of their favourite spot to sit at. Bring the book with you, to look at it when you can’t see the sky or when you can look at it against the sky.
The images in this book are taken from photo documentation of Sky TV (1966–2007) and TV to See the Sky (2015) by Yoko Ono.
The Chinese title is taken from an unattributed poem that permutates the characters for sky, sun and moon to form 天明日月奣. 天明奣 translates to clear skies, clear skies.
